EXPERIENCE:

Lyndsey Marie Wajert is an associate with Mandell Menkes, LLC. A graduate of Boston University School of Law, she has experience in media and First Amendment law, as well as intellectual property matters.

During law school, Ms. Wajert worked for the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education, the New England First Amendment Coalition, the Public Participation Project, and BU Law’s Technology Law Clinic, where she helped litigate freedom of information cases.

After graduating from law school, Ms. Wajert worked as a legal fellow with the Technology and Press Freedom Project with the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press, and then as a fellow with the Knight First Amendment Institute at Columbia University. She is an active member of the Media Law Resource Center and serves on a variety of committees with the American Bar Association Forum on Communications Law. She is admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, the United States District Court for the District of Columbia, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, as well as in the state of Illinois and the District of Columbia. She has appeared pro hac vice in numerous other courts around the country.

Ms. Wajert graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in journalism and mass communication from the School of Media and Public Affairs at The George Washington University.
