Bruce Menkes presented oral argument before the Seventh Circuit in Sterling National Bank v. Block, et al. (Nos. 19-2300, 19-3122, 19-3235). Mandell Menkes had previously prevailed on summary judgment in the Northern District of Illinois, where the district court held that Mandell Menkes’ clients were not obligated to indemnify Sterling National Bank for $2 million, in connection with the $25 million sale of their company. Judges Sykes, Hamilton, and St. Eve presided over the appeal.
