On behalf of a coalition of TV broadcasters, Mandell Menkes attorney Steve Mandell convinced a Lake County judge to allow cameras in the courtroom for the sentencing hearing in the embezzlement case against Melodie Gliniewicz. Gliniewicz’ husband, a former Fox Lake police officer, died by suicide in 2015 in an attempt to cover up the embezzlement scheme.
